Petriessa Estate - Syrah

 

Dry red, Syrah, Protected Geographical          

Indication Evia , Alc. Vol: 14%

 

A juicy and vibrant Syrah with aromas of raspberry, blackberry and cherry lifted by notes of violets and sweet spice.

Bright, lively and brimming with red fruits on the palate, this easy drinking wine is framed by soft, fine grained tannins through to a touch of spice on the finish.

 Petriessa Estate - Merlot

 

Dry Red, Merlot, Alc. Vol: 14%

 

The hand-harvested grapes were fermented in 10,000 liter open stainless steel tanks for fifteen days with selected yeasts, at controlled temperatures of 18 to 22°C.

Extended skin maceration followed, for an additional six to eight days. The wine then went through 100% malolactic fermentation, before being aged in 225 liter French Oak barrels, of second and third use for 8 months. Intense aromas of sweet plums are combined with notes of chocolate and vanilla. Opulent flavors of ripe fruits complement the smooth, velvety and balanced palate with a long, mouthwatering finish.

Kanakaris Winery - Notos Red

 

Dry red Grape varieties: Agiorgitiko and Merlot Alc. Vol: 11.5%

 

Very careful vinfication of the two grape varieties gives a modern red wine of Mediterranean style.

The wine matures with a number of short micro-oxygenations, a fact that enhances its varietal aromas and its freshness.

A modern and light red wine, full of aromas of small red fruits and red flowers.                      Well-structured and velvety in the mouth.

Kanakaris Winery - Mavrodafni Patron

 

Sweet, Still, Red, Mavrodafni, Ages well, 15% alc. P.G.I. Peloponnese, 375ml

 

Dark amber in colour with brown hues and aromatic intensity of a sweet fruit bouquet with a strong presence figs.

The complexity of the aromas and flavours typical of this unique wine. Discreet acidity assists the unfolding of a rich aroma of caramelized fruits, such as dried figs. The long lasting aromatic aftertaste confirms the uniqueness of the wine.

Mavrodaphne produces deeply colored wines with condensed aromas of currants, black fruits and dried plums. With high alcohol levels and  medium levels of acidity, they can be matched with desserts made from chocolate or nuts and some very well aged cheese.

Petriessa Estate - Micro Vathi Rose

 

Dry Rose, Black kountoura & Agiorgitiko, Alc. Vol: 13%

 

The wine was gently fined, cold stabilized and underwent minimal filtration prior to bottling. An appealing and vivid rosé with an intense and aromatic profile which hovers between delicate floral notes of rose petals and fruity flavours of pomegranate and strawberry.

Vibrant with lifted crisp acidity and a refreshing finish.

A rosé wine with a simple, pure fruity character, perfect for our daily table.

Say the fresh, well-frozen with fresh salads or shrimp sausage.

Petriessa Estate - Sauvignon Blanc

 

Dry white, Sauvignon blanc, Alc. Vol: 12.5%

 

The grapes were pressed with minimal skin contact, to maintain the pure fruit flavors. The requirement is, then to be cool fermented with selected yeasts in stainless steel to retain its freshness and zesty character. 

A full and crisp wine with intense aromas and flavors of pear and peach, underlying lemongrass and herbal tones.  

Mouth - watering acidity is balanced by a full flavored palate that leads to a long lingering finish.

Kanakaris Estate - 103 Malagouzia

 

Dry white wine, P.G.I. Slopes of Aegialeia Alc. Vol: 12%

 

From vine yards of the upper altitudes of the Slopes of Aigialeia at 1000 meters. The vinification is based on skin contact at very low temperatures and with long extraction (36 hours).

A white wine created with strict selection of the vineyards and the clones of Malagouzia.

Rich aromas of herbs from the Greek nature, citrus fruits and exotic fruits.  

Full - bodied and complex in the mouth, with refreshing acidity.

Kanakaris Winery - Notos White

 

Dry white, Grape variety: Roditis, Alc. Vol:  11.5%

 

Made exclusively from the grape variety Roditis that grows in the semi-mountainous vineyards of the Slopes of Aigialeia.

Crystal light yellow colour with a pleasant aroma of citrus fruits and exotic fruits.

In the mouth it is well-structured and refreshing with a pleasant acidity that balances perfectly its rich character.

Kanakaris Winery - Moschofilero

 

Dry white wine, P.G.I. Peloponnese, Alc. Vol: 11.5%

 

Cold extraction for three hours, followed by gentle pressure in order to receive only the free flow must. Fermentation at low temperature sand the stay on fine lees for two months give unique aromatic intensity to the wine. 

A modern and very refreshing wine. Intensive aroma of lime, green apple and roses with crisp acidity.

Petriessa Estate - Micro Vathi White

 

Dry white, Asyrtiko & White Kountoura, Alc. Vol: 12.5%

 

The grapes were pressed with minimal skin contact, to maintain the pure fruit flavors. The must was then cool fermented with selected yeasts in stainless steel to retain its freshness and zesty character. 

Lemon color with green tints and aromas of ripe yellow fruits.

On the palate is dry with a minerality and refreshing acidity. Aromas of white peach and apricot, reveal the fruity aftertaste.

Kanakaris Winery - Notos Retsina

 

Dry white Grape variety: Roditis, Alc. Vol: 11.5%

 

The famous Greek traditional appellation wine.

We choose to add a very small percentage of the pine's resin in the middle of the alcoholic fermentation,so that only its most delicate aromatic substances are extracted into the wine.

A modern and light white wine, full of aromas of white - fleshed fruits and citrus fruits with the background of the refreshing sense that the pine's resin gives to it.
